Samsung has been working tirelessly on its Galaxy S series and is quite successful. Here comes a new addition- Samsung Galaxy S7. The upcoming Galaxy S7 is going to be another remarkable effort by Samsung. However, Samsung has claimed that new GS7 will have a smaller camera than GS6 but would give greater results.
Samsung’s Strength in Cameras
Samsung has one of its core competencies in the field of photography and camera. We can see that previous versions of Galaxy S had a High-quality camera. The Galaxy S6 had one of the best cameras in the market which was 16 megapixels. However, in the all new Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung plans to introduce a great rear camera experience. The changes are expected to be in Aperture, Pixels, and Focusing.
A Much Larger Aperture
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is capable of taking much wider pictures with more light as the aperture has been further enlarged. In GS6, it was at f/1.7 and here in GS7, it would almost be around f/1.9. A wider aperture helps the camera to take even lighter pictures at even extremely low light circumstances enhancing the picture quality beyond limits.
Drop in Picture Quality?
NOT AT ALL. When we see the fact that camera has been dropped from 16 megapixels to 12 megapixels in GS7 we expect the quality to be lower. However, this is not the case. The lower pixel density means that each individual pixel is larger. It has moved from 1.12 microns to 1.4 microns which is a reasonably good benefit. This will help users to get even better pictures in Low light without any LED Flash.
Almost a DSLR
The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge give us an experience just like taking pictures from a Professional DSLR Camera. Both these phones have the new “Dual Pixel” sensor. This means that each and every pixel is used for Autofocus rather than only a few pixels. Samsung has claimed that this will ultimately result in a much better and faster Autofocus.
Other Outstanding Features of the Galaxy S7
The Samsung GS7 is to provide users with a video at 2160p unlike the 1080p earlier. Moreover, there is Simultaneous 4k video recording and a 9-megapixel image recording option. The front camera would be around 5MP and would be also taking good low light pictures. The camera can record dual videos, both from the front and back at same time. In addition, this feature is expected for Video calls too. With the option of optical Image Stabilization, the camera would be able to take much clearer pictures.
What Are You Waiting For
Samsung has always provided its users with an ultimate Camera experience. We expect to see much more features in Galaxy S7’s camera too.
