The Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to have the same memory options as the previous generation Samsung Galaxy S9. We will see why and what else can likely change briefly as we run through other leaks and rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S10.
Samsung is in the making of stellar Samsung Galaxy S10 being one of the most expected devices of 2019. The hype that it already has earnt has outdone most other smartphones on the market. Like the Apple iPhone’s 10th anniversary we expect a grand opening for the Samsung Galaxy S10 too.
What to expect for Samsung Galaxy S10?
The Samsung Galaxy S10 has expanded its line-up to three different smartphones for 2019. The third one apart from the regular and plus is the cost-effective variant where Samsung is expected to cut corners to shrink down luxury while still providing on the basic features and performance of the flagship S series.
The in-display fingerprint scanner will make its debut in the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus for Samsung. While the fingerprint scanners we have seen by far rely on optics to read the fingerprint, this from Samsung will use ultrasonic in its place.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is rumored to have 5 cameras in total. We already saw Huawei P20 Pro with triple rear cameras and numerous smartphones having dual front cameras but none to have the combination of both. The other two variants will be equipped with fewer cameras.
Samsung confirmed the absence of a notch for Samsung Galaxy S10 is not essentially a bummer for the fans. Because almost everyone is happy with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S9. There is a good chance we might see a fill display front like the Vivo Nex too.
The other key specs expected to land in the Samsung Galaxy S10 are Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and Exynos 9820 which will be the market leading chip during the release time. RAM must be 6Gb for the Plus variant and 4GB for the regular and cheaper S10s. Batteries must be ranging from 3000 to 3500 mAh for respective models.
What will be the storage capacity of Samsung Galaxy S10?
The Samsung Galaxy S10 will come with a 64GB as the base storage option and will go all the way up to 128 Gb and 256 Gb as the previous generation. In the current smartphone trend, the flagship with less than 64 Gb of storage though it has an SD card slot feels obsolete and in my opinion, 256 GB is well above enough. The cost-effective Samsung Galaxy S10 might start at 32 Gb and have a 64 Gb option to choose thereby cutting corners to make it cheap. Not much to bother if it will come out with an SD card slot which it will as we guess.
There might be a 512 Gb variant if Samsung like in the past with limited special edition phones like the Ironman and Batman merchandised smartphones. The last time we saw it was in Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Batman Edition painted all black and lined with gold. The 10th iteration might be a good time to bring merchandise back to the line up which will add more value to the device.
