Design and Appearance

Both of the phones almost have the same screen but the difference is that edge wraps around the sides. The S7 has a simple flat display. Where the S7 is only 152g with a 5.1-inch classic display, The S7 edge weighs 157g with a 5.5-inchh curved display. People with smaller hands might find the S7 much easier to use. Whereas, others might find S7’s classic curved display to be appealing

Battery

As the S7 edge has a bigger screen and comparatively more features than S7, it has a bigger battery. The S7 comes with a battery of 3000maH whereas S7 edge has 3600maH battery. This means that you would have more power coming on with your S7 edge.

Software

Apparently both of these cell phones have the latest Android Marshmallow software. However, slight improvements are apparent in the S7 edge. Firstly, a sidebar can be scrolled up through edge’s curved side which can show apps as per your customization. The edge can additionally alert you for incoming calls if your device is turned upside down and faced on a table. It can also act as a night clock and display fewer features if you glance at it while staying on a bed.

As being the larger device with a curved screen, The S7 edge naturally becomes the expensive one. A 32 GB S7 edge would cost you around 900 USD whiles the simple S7 32 GB would cost around 850 USD. The additional $50 can be justified for the larger display and a curved attractive screen.
