Marshmallow Update Rolled out in the New Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

Samsung updates to the latest android update as soon as it is launched. We expect same for Samsung Galaxy S7. The new android Marshmallow operating system update has been rolled out in Galaxy S7 and and S7 Edge, and will provide many new features against the previous android 5.0 Lollipop.

The New On Tap

With Samsung Galaxy S7 having an Android Marshmallow, it certainly has many new features designed in it. With just one single tap on the bottom of the screen, you get a wide variety of most used and recent applications and it becomes easier to switch applications with just one Tap. The On Tap anticipates what you want at the moment, for example, someone has sent you an address via SMS. You can use On Tap to get locations to that address or save it and many more features. The best thing is, it’s just under a Tap.

Smarter Battery, More Power

The Samsung Galaxy S7 already has a huge battery of around 4000maH. But the new Marshmallow provides extra Dose. The new Dose feature puts your phone into a sleep state. This means that you always have some charging left in the device. Just in case, you forgot to charge your S7 before sleeping, you always have enough “Dose” to ring up your alarm. Moreover, the updated App standby feature does not let apps use any extra battery. The battery drain to random apps is limited.

Greater Control with Peace of Mind

You don’t have to provide the apps with access all the time. You can give them permission whenever you want to and take it back whenever you want to. Marshmallow lets you give the control over your sharing activity and time of sharing too. Moreover, you don’t have to put in passwords each time.

Marshmallow features a Fingerprint security system. This simplified security is much secure than the simple passwords which can be cracked too. Even for transactions, you can use a fingerprint impression and make transactions much secure and safe even over the internet.

Ready for Android Marshmallow 6.0

The Marshmallow is one exciting update by Google. Many phones such as Samsung Galaxy S7 would have a great range of features available through its additional software components. The new update of android is expected to roll out as soon as Samsung Galaxy S7 comes into the market. At many regions, it has already arrived while at many others it has yet to come. We are expecting much more improvements to the Software and other features in the android’s next update.
