The Samsung Galaxy S10 has been stealing the show away from it’s yet to be seen sibling Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The want for the Samsung Galaxy S10 has gone even higher when Samsung declared its quarterly earnings which wasn’t doing well due to slow Samsung Galaxy S9 sales.
Samsung the successful smartphone brand which always locked horns with Apple’s iPhones and Google Pixels now has slow phase and to counter that, the baby in the making, Samsung Galaxy S10 is packed with a ton lot of features and cutting-edge technology is what Samsung claims. When Samsung released the quarterly results of Q2 2018 they said the sales didn’t do well both on quarter to quarter comparison and year to year comparison. They also said Samsung is packing the Samsung Galaxy S10 with features ahead of time to satisfy the market needs to be top-selling smartphone again.
Samsung Galaxy S10 rumors and leaks
In display fingerprint reader
The earliest of rumors started with under the display fingerprint scanner. Samsung was reportedly working on an under display fingerprint scanner but initially, there was not any news about it debut- either on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 or Samsung Galaxy S10. Later few other sources added detail to the claim. It said it was an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. Ultrasonic fingerprint readers exist in very few smartphones, under the display fingerprint readers to exist but not the combination of both. Samsung is working on that and saving it for the Samsung Galaxy S10. They have also filed it in the US Patent Office.
Another revelation that came as a part of the Q2 sales report is the upcoming 10th edition of the S series flagship is going to have 5G support. First of its kind with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. There is no possible way to test out the 5g network yet but it is still good to own a future-proof smartphone.
The screen is undeniably one of the best features of the Samsung Galaxy S10. Samsung being a display manufacturer has never failed to fit their flagship line up with the best display, they call it Super AMOLED display. When Samsung said they are bringing cutting edge technology for Samsung Galaxy S10 everyone would expect a advancement in the display. It could either be a truly bezel-less display curving to all the sides which will make for the most beautiful display on the smartphone. Or it could even be the foldable smartphone which Samsung is working on for 4 years at least.
Cameras are also a strong pillar to have a great smartphone and Samsung has been delivering well on that front. The last generation had a first of its kind dual aperture optics on the primary camera sensor which was able to produce some amazing results. This year we have already had rumors of having a triple camera setup to the back of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. This might as well be one of the big features Samsung talked about recently.
Prior rumors that we haven’t seen in recent times mentioned a third device in the Samsung Galaxy S10 line-up a cheaper Samsung Galaxy S10 with same stunning display and similar form factor, side mounter fingerprint scanner and possible a single rear camera.
