For months, analysts have been speculating the official unveiling of Samsung’s next flagships would come at the Barcelona Mobile World Congress event in February, but new rumors suggest we’ll see two handsets unveiled much earlier. It’s sounding like both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be announced at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show in January of 2016 setting the stage for a worldwide launch earlier than anticipated.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 worldwide launch is rumored to start in the Asian market late February to early March before launching in other markets around the globe.
Sammy has been working with a new production methodology that is supposed to cut the mass production time down on handsets significantly. The first time being implored sounds to be now and it’s sounding like there’s been a great deal of progress. Leaks surrounding the decrease in time and cost associated with production will be passed down to consumers as evidenced by the latest Galaxy S7 price rumors out of India.
Some analysts have been speculating we’ll see consumer availability as early as the 4th quarter of 2015, but this is highly unlikely based on what we’ve been hearing. Rumors out of Korea have been pretty consistent which makes the GS7 the first Samsung flagship launching in 2016. LG’s G Flex 3 is also believed to be unveiled at CES which would be LG’s first flagship of the year.
