Will Samsung finally upgrade the cheap headphones that we’ve seen standard in the past few Galaxy S handsets. Whilst most smartphones do in fact come with some form of headphones out of the box, there’s reason to be a little unsure that anything will change. Recently Sony released a smartphone range that did not include headphones despite the range being a set of premium handsets. New rumors are coming on on the Galaxy S8 unboxing that is believed to finally feature premium headphones.
We’ll be talking about the possibilities of headphones higher in quality coming with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and exactly what kind of headphones they could be.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Unboxing with Premium Headphones?
If history tells us anything, Samsung will most likely make sure all variants of the Samsung Galaxy S8 come with headphones. During unboxing the Galaxy S8, owners should hopefully find a set of headphones, a USB wall charger, a warranty card and an instruction manual. The USB wall charger may be withdrawn from the box but so far Samsung has not taken up this strategy.
To summarize it all, yes there’s likely to be a big chance that there will be headphones in the Samsung Galaxy S8 box.
In-ear or Over-ear?
There is no doubt that the headphones that Samsung provide with the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be in-ear earbud style headphones. These headphones will be quite discreet and you’ll be able to fit the cable and the earbuds in your pocket without any issue. On top of being in-ear headphones, the provided audio equipment in the Galaxy S8 box should include a microphone so that you can take calls whilst wearing them. This means that you will not need to hold the smartphone to your face whilst making a call if the headphones are connected.
For any audiophiles out there, sorry to disappoint but it’s unlikely that the headphone quality provided by Samsung will be that great. With that being said, the in-ear headphones shouldn’t have that terrible audio quality and the microphone should be quite decent.
So far the best headphones that have been provided by a smartphone manufacturer have possibly been the QuadBeat 3 in-ear buds by LG. We doubt Samsung will manage to outperform the QuadBeat 3’s but they should be able to work well for a backup pair.
