Those of you anticipating the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the multiple variants will be pleasantly surprised with all that’s in store as the information coming in shows a superior handset. Samsung hasn’t become known as one of the industry leaders for no reason at all, and this will not be further from the truth when the new Galaxy S7 concept debuts here in a few months.
Rumored to launch early 2016, the many rumors coming in will appeal to just about everyone. Believed to feature the standard S7 model along with the unique S7 Edge variant and the larger sized S7 Edge Plus, there will truly be something for everyone. All eyes will be on the many improvements in the Samsung Galaxy S7 concept which will significantly improve upon the durability, security, and power.
We’re hearing Sammy’s intending on introducing a new Magnesium alloy surround that will be seen in all three variants that will not only make the handsets more durable, but also lightweight. The Magnesium alloy will encase the edges of the phone itself which will help with any accidental drops and or those unfortunate incidents which we’ve all seen.
The security will also see an upgrade when comparing the S7 concept to the S6 thanks to a new retina eye scanner. Persistent rumors on eye sensing technology running alongside a fingerprint scanner will make the phone itself nearly impenetrable. Users will now have the peace of mind from any would-be persons trying to unlock the phone. Besides added security, a retina eye scanner would also enhance mobile payments making it faster, more secure, and ultimately a better way to shop.
The power will be fully enhanced thanks to new processors that are set to debut. Qualcomm’s 820 SoC is believed to be featured in either all three variants or just the S7 Edge Plus while rumors on Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 chipset are being heard. This doesn’t even take into account of an upgrade in RAM when comparing it to the S6 as the S7 is believed to feature 4GB or even 5GB of RAM.
