Android 7.0 will debut at the end of this year, and will be the latest mobile operating system from Google. Many of the top 2017 smartphones will be racing to feature the new Android 7.0 operating system, and it’s believed the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge will be among them.
There’s been no official word on what the name of 7.0 will be called, but as it stands, Google mobile devices will be the first to see in late 2016. Google has been pretty consistent with its naming moniker which leads us to believe where in for another real treat. It’s hard to determine what desert we’ll see next, but considering the naming should start with “N”, it doesn’t leave us much to consider.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge are looking to have 7.0 which will make it one of the first flagships seen in 2017 to have the Android N operating system preinstalled. This will be good news for consumers as many manufacturers typically rush the launch of the newest operating system to only find many problems post-launch. This has been the case with previous operating system launches including numerous problems with Lollipop just months ago.
Android 6.0, Marshmallow is due to be launched here in a matter of months, and many changes are expecting including a much cleaner Material Design, better graphics, enhanced drop down menu options, and mobile payment options built right-in.
Sammy will be looking to take advantage of the newer technology seen in 7.0 that is likely to appeal to consumers. Other smartphone manufacturers in 2017 will also be looking to feature the newer OS including LG, HTC, Sony, and many others.
We’ll keep you updated with the possibility of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Android 7.0 operating system release including all rumors and confirmations as soon as we get more.
