Samsung Galaxy S9 is just 3-4 months away from launch, so it’s no surprise to see the curiosity among company’s fans regarding this device. Since Galaxy S series has always been known for its powerful top of the line specs, buyers of premium smartphones are eagerly waiting for this next big thing in the series. And one of the questions on their mind is regarding the expected color variants of Galaxy S9 that will be offered by Samsung with this device. In how many colors will Samsung Galaxy S9 be available and which colors will they be? While there’s no straightforward answer, we can consider company’s previous Galaxy S launches to get an idea of what color choices may be available with this flagship.
Black is one of the most sold colors in the smartphone industry. Every single smartphone available in the market comes with a Black shade, and Galaxy S series smartphones are no different. So a black colored Galaxy S9 is almost confirmed. However, what’s not confirm is that whether it’ll be all black, grayish black or both. When the company launched Galaxy S8, it launched the device with separate Black (Midnight Black) and Gray (Orchid Gray) shades. Whether this will be repeated again in 2018 or not, it remains to be seen. There may be anything – separate black and grey shades, just a single black shade and complete disappearance of the gray shade, or a coexistence of both shades.
Samsung earlier used to launch its Galaxy S series smartphones in a white shade, but since last two years that white shade has been replaced by silver. So a silver shade is also pretty much confirmed for Samsung Galaxy S9.
Just like Black and Silver, Golden color is also pretty common and popular in the smartphone industry. Samsung has always launched its Galaxy S smartphones in at least one golden shade, so next year too we can expect Galaxy S9 to come in a golden shade.
Other colors that are likely to be a part of Samsung Galaxy S9’s color choices include Blue and Pink. Sammy doesn’t have a tradition of releasing Galaxy S devices in these colors, but this year Galaxy S8 was released in these colors too so there’s a chance of Galaxy S9 also coming in these color variants.
Samsung Galaxy S9 will be one of the big hopes of company after release of iPhone X, and that’s why they’re planning to release it earlier this time. The device is rumored to come with latest Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB RAM, 5.8-inch Infinity display with QHD+ resolution, 12mp dual lens primary camera, 8mp secondary camera, rear-facing fingerprint sensor, iris scanners and a 3,000 mAh battery.
