The form factor of both Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus smartphones is expected to remain same, largely because the display size is also being kept the same at 5.8 inches and 6.2 inches. So a rectangular form factor with curved sides is likely to be followed for making both these devices.

Premium Build Quality

Both Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are also likely to be made of more premium quality material this time. While dust, water and splash proof build is a minimum standard set by the company, there’s need of more as displays get stretched all the way to the edges of the phones. The current breed of edge-to-edge display based smartphones is fragile, and there’s need to make smartphones more durable while making their fronts almost entirely of displays.
