It sounds like all of the top carriers in the UK including Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone will be getting in on Samsung Galaxy S8 preorders, but hopefully there’s enough to go around. With huge expectations expected on Sammy’s 2017 Galaxy S lineup which will likely include the standard version, S8 Edge, and S8 Edge Plus.
For those looking forward to the launch of both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge will want to take advantage of preorders in the UK as it may be the only way to secure a new handset on launch day. Both launch variants of the S8 are expected to face long delays which means the first launch handsets will be reserved for those who preorder early.
Both Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone are expected to get in on Samsung Galaxy S8 preorders which is no surprise considering their two of the largest carriers in the UK. Preorders could start as early as mid to late January of 2016 if the official announcement does come out of the CES event in Las Vegas. With the release date in the UK expected to be Februry 2017, preoders should start shipping just before.
We’re expecting to see a price ranging from £-550- £600 for the launch price which is pretty consistent what we’re hearing for other markets. Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone will offer full-purchase, contract, and installment pricing giving consumers the ability to choose the Galaxy S8 launch price which is best for them.
The installment pricing option has become increasingly popular for consumers as it allows consumers to purchase today with no money down with equal payments for a period including 24-months.
We’ll update you with the Galaxy S8 preorder status on all UK carriers for the stadard S8, S8 Edge, and S8 Edge Plus which will be the most expensive variant as soon as we get it.
