Samsung Galaxy S8 Color Variants

There will be a number of different Samsung Galaxy S8 color variants available at launch and in this article we will be talking a little bit about the different colors available. The actual colors or their names could change, but it would be a surprise to not see the colors mentioned below.

Please be aware that this article is about the color variants of the Galaxy S8 and not the model variants or the storage variants. This article does not take the Galaxy S8 Edge into consideration either, although the color variants for both devices will most likely be the same. We wouldn’t be surprised to see some carrier specific colors like we’ve seen in previous versions, and some new colors to boot.

White

Perhaps the most authentic Galaxy experience, the white variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be used as the main showcase device. White has been Samsung’s most notable device color for quite some time, but the next color also follows closely behind.

Black

Although not quite as prominently known as the white color variant, black is a color choice that Samsung has had alongside the white variant for many years as well. Both black and white are as simple as can be – simple block colors without any other noticeable changes in detail.

Gold

Out of all of the Samsung Galaxy S8 colors, gold is perhaps the hardest to distinguish without a description. Gold could come in a lot of different forms, but the gold variant of the S8 is closer to a rose gold hue than a full bright gold. Gold certainly stands out more than black and white, but no way near as much as the next color variant.

Blue

The blue variant of the S8 stands out from the crowd by a longshot. It’s color features a very bright blue that can be noticed from a mile away. Being the only bright color option available at launch for previous smartphones, the blue color variant will be a first choice for many new Samsung Galaxy S8 owners.

Green

Green is the latest color option being rumored in the S8, but there have been conflicting reports it may only be available for the S8 Edge. Either way, expecte to see huge consumer interest as it’s believed we’ll once again see the premium finish that will be more of an Emerald color than a typical green.

Pink

We’re hearing a plenty of talk about a Pink Samsung Galaxy S8 which is expected to be one of the surprise announcements once the handset is made official early 2017. The pink color option is expected to appeal to females and those looking for a new color option, and is believed to be one of the most popular choices. There are also rumors the pink variant will be offered in limited supply, so you may not want to wait very long.

All this and we’re hearing the cost of the S8 at launch will be comparable with previous handsets in the Galaxy S series.
