Samsung Galaxy S8 rumors have started to spread like wildfire all over the web. Each new day there is a new rumor of something new to this flagship smartphone which is expected to release early in 2017. Since the company teased Galaxy S8 on Twitter with hashtag #TheNextGalaxy experts have taken over the web with assumptions next big innovation Samsung has stored for its consumers. Hopefully, Samsung is planning something gigantic with its new successful series flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S8.
This year Samsung launched its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones these were an instant hit in the Android market. Both the phones with 5.3 and 5.5 inch AMOLED always –on display and now we are expecting ultra 4k Hd   display in Galxy S8. As per reports and rumors Samsung going with tradition will refine it Galaxy series design so that Galaxy S8 will be similar to its predecessor.

Whereas Galaxy S8 edge, expected with twin edge display which will have a curved look. Samsung is also working on improved Iris Eye scanner which will work lightning fast. There is a list of updates that will keep popping up in the coming months as it progresses to release date.
Well, the most innovative things that are expected by the consumer from Samsung Galaxy S8 apart from foldable design which still gives us the feel high-end smartphone. It will have new features which were not able to deliver with Galaxy S7. One such feature is the return of IR blaster.

IR BLASTER

An IR blaster is the much-awaited feature by the consumers; it’s primarily for controlling TVs, stereos. It’s been somewhat treasured feature of some Samsung flagship smartphones up until recently. From Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note, three fans are looking forward to using their phones as universal remotes to change channels and perform other such tasks with smart TV.

However, IR blaster was missing from Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. As compared to other features IR blaster was not so popular according to Samsung’s data, so they axed it from their previous phones to provide more space and breathing room design wise and most importantly to save every bit of battery life.

Smartphones lacking IR blaster makes repairs a bit less complicated as they conflict with other sensors and also drops the cost of manufacturing at a decent price. Well IR blaster is not so expensive part this may cost a few couple of dollars depending on the Samsung models and manufacturer, leaving it out on a scale of anticipated millions of sales that Samsung makes, will logically save millions of dollars to Samsung.
IR blaster is not such an attractive feature until recently it was included in some modern phones such as LG G5 which looked a bit better than the other smartphones in the competition regarding value feature. There is selected audience who would like to have IR blaster just so that they don’t lose their TV remotes and still use their IR based remotes. So with all these requirements from the consumer, it’s up to Samsung to figure out its way for including an IR blaster in Samsung Galaxy S8 user will be glad to have it on their devices.
