Rumors; Samsung Galaxy S8 Rear Camera to Boast 30 Megapixels

We’re hearing a whole lot on the new specs of the Samsung Galaxy S8, and probably the biggest surprise would be a 30MP rear camera. We all know that with each new handset the specs surpass the previous model, and 30MP smartphones will be introduced in a matter of time. With Samsung being one of the most innovative manufacturers, it wouldn’t surprise us at all to see the Galaxy S8 with 30 megapixels on-board.

It’s also believed Sony will be providing the hardware and we’re hearing it the Samsung Galaxy S8 rear camera will be outfitted with an extra-wide lens. Of course all the extra goodies will be found on-board including optical image stabilization, laser auto focus, and we’re holding out for 3D photography.

3D smartphone cameras are likely to be one of the up and coming trends, with rumors suggesting Samsung is looking into the new technology. 3D quality may be seen in both still photos and live videos creating probably the most innovative smartphone camera experience yet.

Of course this is all speculation at this time which also includes a 5.2” display with a true 4K resolution of 4096 x 2160. 6GB RAM could be found on-board along with a Qualcomm 820 SoC with a blazing fast speed of 3.2GHz.

Hopefully the current release date rumors are true, and if so, we should see something official during the early part of 2017. We’re certain the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Edge, and Galaxy S8 Edge Plus will become a worldwide release with the S8 Edge Plus launching a few months behind. The good news is that all three variants should launch months earlier than expected which the standard S8 and S8 Edge debuting early Q1 of 2017.
