The rumors that Samsung is looking to launch the new line of Galaxy S smartphones earlier than expected are starting to heat up, and it looks like we could see this as early as this coming year. Conventional wisdom suggests we’ll see the debut of both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge April of 2017, but new Samsung rumors suggests otherwise.

The latest information starts with the upcoming launch of the Galaxy S7 and GS7 Edge which could launch as early as February of 2017. New tips suggests the same as the South Korean manufacturer has already started a new production initiative that would launch their new line of smartphones much earlier. Miuc of the S7 lineup is said to be hindering on the mass production of Qualcomm’s new 820 SoC which is said to be in all S7 variants.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 release date rumors is great news for the tech manufacturer as launching the new wares before everyone else is always good for business. The GS8 and GS8 Edge will be facing some fierce competition in 2017 with LG looking to launch both the LG Flex 4 and LG G6 around the same time.

If the current tips out of Korea are true, we could see the official unveiling of both the GS8 and GS8 during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas January of 2017. The same could be true for LG’s new Flex 4, but it looks like we’ll be waiting a bit longer to see the new LG G6.
