Apple, on the other hand, has again trusted its Retina HD display for iPhone 7, it measures 4.7 inches from corner to corner. As a result lower resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels in comparison to Galaxy S7 display, this won’t be noticeable on smaller screens with hi-resolution.

HARDWARE

Samsung Galaxy S7 launched with its top hardware, six months on it still strong and genuine to its consumers. S7 features Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 820 processor with four cores and an Adreno 530 GPU. Both the chips are considered top range products, so Galaxy S7 is challenging regarding computing power. Also, S7 features 4GB of RAM, 32or 64 GB of internal storage ,External Storage & Great CPU in the Galaxy S7 .
Apple’s new iPhone 7 and new iPhone 7 Plus features its new chip A10 Fusion. It’s a 64-bit quad-core processor. Apple claims its 40% faster than the A9 chip and twice fast than the A8. A10’s two cores are high performance, and multitasking and other two high-efficiency cores run the fifth power which is for basic tasks. To manage this process, Apple has developed new performance controller that decides task to cores based on the situation.

SOFTWARE

Samsung Galaxy S7 is powered by Marshmallow. Google’s Android software Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow  was a good software update with small improvements such as UX redesigns and battery life optimizations. Marshmallow is a refined version of Android 5.0 Lollipop as most of the ground work is done earlier.
Apple iPhone 7 in comparison runs on Apple’s custom-built iOS 10 software. It improves the user experience with 3D Touch support to developers and also offers support for widgets and redesigned lock screen. iOS is easier just to pick and go, and you get the third party app compatibility for Siri which makes it cooler.
