Exclusive Samsung Galaxy S8 Apps – S Health, TouchWiz UX, and More

There will be a number of exclusive Samsung Galaxy S8 apps available that will help it stand out from the rest of the Android offering in 2017. Whilst some of the applications are quite similar to other apps available on the Google Play store, most of them have some kind of unique functionality.

Check out some of the great apps available on the Galaxy S8 which will come preloaded on Samsung’s newest flaghip.

Tidal

If the exclusive Tidal deal goes through with Samsung, it could mean that Tidal, the music streaming service, could release its mobile app exclusively for the Samsung Galaxy S8. Tidal is a great competitor to Spotify and other music streaming services, and it even offers a special Hi-Fi service that includes extra high quality music files, which are hard to find elsewhere.

S Health

S Health is one of the exclusive Galaxy S8 apps that has been around since the early days of TouchWiz. A lot has been improved upon since the first release of S Health, but it’s still mainly useful as a step counter and calorie counter. You can also use S Health to check your heart rate and use it to track and record other health related details too.

Galaxy Edge

If you purchase the Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge, you’ll be giving yourself a whole world of exclusive software features that make use of the curved edges on the display. The Galaxy Edge functionality has improved a lot since the S6 Edge and it’s great to see it make a return.

TouchWiz UX

There are heaps upon heaps of exclusive Galaxy S8 apps within the TouchWiz UX. Both new and old, many of the TouchWiz features are exclusively available for Samsung handsets. Hopefully we’ll hear some more about the exclusive TouchWiz features available on the Samsung Galaxy S8 when it gets closer to the handset launch date.
