Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus Specs Include 5.8″ 4K Display, Qualcomm 820 Soc, and Micro SD Card Slot

As we get closer to the New Year we can expect to hear more and more rumors on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7. The latest suggests we’ll once again see the Plus sized variant which is expected to be launched worldwide months after the standard S7 and S7 Edge. The Galaxy S7 Edge Plus looks to be an enhanced version of the S6 Edge that will offer a slight size increase and features that were lacking in the previous model.

Samsung’s other Phablet debuted as the S6 Edge Plus and has given the Note series a run for its money. With consumers looking for something bigger, better, and ultimately a new concept there’s no wonder why the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus is getting so much attention. Believed to be launched in markets around the world including here in the US, UK, South Korea, China, India, and many more.

The rumors are in on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus specs, and it’s looking like consumers are getting exactly what they want. Starting with a 5.8” display with a fully 4K resolution which will bring out one of the best smartphones displays seen yet.

It doesn’t stop there as we’re likely to see the new Snapdragon Qualcomm 808 SoC. The standard S7 and S7 Edge are rumored to sport Samsung’s Exynos 8890 chipset while the premium S7 Edge Plus is believed to sport the new Exynos processor. Both are being tested in the new S7 concept, and from what we’re hearing we’re in for a real treat.

Probably the biggest surprise when looking at the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus specs will be the return of the Micro SD card slot. It’s believed that all versions of the S7 with the unknown on the S7 Active model will feature the micro SD card option which is becoming more of a standard feature in high-end handsets. Project Lucky all-but confirms this, but we’ll have to wait a bit more as seeing is believing.

It’s also believed we’ll see a new magnesium alloy uni-body design which will signifantly improve the duability and make it much lighter than previous models.
