Samsung Galaxy S8 vs LG G6, HTC One M11, and Sony Xperia Z7

November 30, 2015 | Amit Arora

Samsung has been one of the most consistent smartphone maufacturers, and over the years the newest models have become some of the most anticipated flagships. Being an industry leader shows a great deal of innovation, and over the years the Korean manufacturer has been one of the industries best. If you’re one of the many waiting for the new Galaxy S8, you may want to take a moment consider the competition.

In 2017 there will be a number of different phones like the Samsung Galaxy S8 available on the market so if you’re unsure about the S8, you may want to consider an alternative. Below we have listed three of the top Android smartphones expected to launch in 2017 alongside the Galaxy S8 which is likely to include the LG G6, HTC One M11, and the Sony Xperia Z7.

Samsung Galaxy S8 vs LG G6

The flagship smartphone by LG in 2016 is expected to be called the LG G6 and it is the first of three phones like the Samsung Galaxy S8 that we will be mentioning in this article. Unlike previous releases, it could be possible that the LG G6 drops the removable back cover and supports a unibody metallic design.

At this point we aren’t sure how likely it would be for this to happen but LG is one of the very few manufacturers to still have a flagship with a removable back cover. There are of course benefits to having a unibody design but LG has done well without it so far. Honestly we hope that LG keep the removable cover because it’s one of the elements that help it to stay unique.

Samsung Galaxy S8 vs HTC One M11

HTC has been using the same build quality for their smartphones for the past few years and we really hope that by the time it reaches the HTC One M11, they drop it for something a little newer. In fact, the One M11 name is a bit long too – perhaps HTC could do with a name change as well. Whatever happens, we hope HTC manage to stay afloat because they do have to offer a lot to the smartphone industry, including front facing dual speakers, which is a feature that is seen in very few flagship smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy S8 vs Sony Xperia Z7

With its symmetrical Omni-Balance design theme, the Sony Xperia Z7 has one of the most simplistic build designs known to man. With that being said, it stands out because of this. Because of the way Sony has built the smartphone, it’s one of the most comfortable devices to hold and it takes focus away from fancy aesthetics and focuses users on the most important thing – the display.
